Art Prize News
Good images are the single most important part of your entry (aside from the work itself!). Our judges select the works to shortlist based on these images alone, so it is of utmost importance that you submit the best images possible of your work. Here are some photography tips for photographing your work.
Winning the People’s Choice helped my confidence, if hundreds of people decided they liked my work best in such a beautiful display of art, that really inspires me as I sit in the studio and paint new work.
Jo Bone, glass artist, won the Significant 3D award in the 2018 Stanthorpe Art Prize. She has recently been creating trophies for various award ceremonies, including the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Containers for Change and the Queensland Literary Awards.
