Calling all artists! The prestigious Stanthorpe Art Prize is back, and it’s time to showcase your talent to the world. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a budding newcomer, this is your chance to shine on the artistic stage.

We are thrilled to announce that submissions are now open for this renowned competition.

Entries close on 31 May 2024. The 2024 Stanthorpe Art Prize exhibition will be held in our newly refurbished Gallery from September 7 - November 10.

 

$50,000 in Prize Money

Be part of the excitement as we award an impressive $50,000 in prizes, celebrating artistic excellence in various categories.

  • Stanthorpe Art Prize 2024 Award: $16,000 (Awarded to the most outstanding artwork of the competition)

  • Category Prizes: Six category prizes of $4,000 each

The ultimate Stanthorpe Art Prize 2024 Award winner will be selected from the category winners, receiving the $16,000 prize in addition to their $4,000 category prize.

Additional awards include

  • $2,000 Changeover Team Award

  • $1,500 Local Artist Award (residing within 100 kilometres of Stanthorpe)

  • $1,500 Young Artist Award

  • $5,000 Public Choice Award
