Blue-faced Honeyeater (Entomyzon cyanotis)

Conservation status: least concern

Like Noisy Miners, Blue-faced Honeyeaters are common near home. Blue-faces are less aggressive but, like the Miners, always in a small flock, so interactions between the two are frequent. Comparing the two species is inevitable. They are almost as vocal as the Mickeys and their calls can sound similar. So when they both gather late in the day to bicker and sing their evening chorus, they create quite a racket.
