Artists informed of Stanthorpe Art Prize Shortlist

Our judges, Rachael Parsons and Simon Elliott, have completed the shortlisting process and shortlisted and also unsuccessful artists have now been notified.

Our exhibition was meant to be held from early June, but due to COVID-19 we have had a difficult decision to make. Many art prizes have cancelled, but we have decided to postpone rather than cancel. '

At this stage we plan to hold our exhibition in February - March 2021, depending on how the virus situation unfolds over the next few months.

To all career artists, emerging artists and local artists, our personal sincere thanks for your work, professionalism, support and interest in this art prize. It truly is a highlight that our small town can draw such exceptional entries. The judges had a very difficult time shortlisting this year.
