My garden has bloomed amazingly since the rain. Birds, buttterflies and bees fill the garden. This lino print of natives are complimented in a still life by little treasures from my collection. Hand colouring with watercolour shows the brilliance of the blooms.
I studied at Newcastle Art School 1976 to 1979, majoring in painting and printmaking. My works in oil, pencil, pastel and linoprint are inspired by the Australian bush and my garden. I've been a finalist in Silk Cut Lino Award 2009 Calleen Art Award 2019 Hornsby Art Prize 2019.
