I’m fascinated with the twilight hours, be it early morning or dusk, and love trying to capture it for the mood and feeling in my paintings. I started this painting in plein air on the ocean side of Mooball Creek and finished it in my studio, with a touch of imagination.
I was awarded an art scholarship at the age of 11, and have painted throughout my life. I worked for many years in the animation industry for TV and film. Selected to exhibit in major art competitions, including The Waterhouse, Blake Prize and twice selected for the Archibald Salon des Refusals, Victoria.
