This beach in FNQ is stunning and wild. Recently it was the scene of a shocking, brutal murder. I often wonder if a view such as this was the victim's last glimpse of life? We visit these places for the peace and beauty, but life can change in an instant.
Skies by nature are in a constant state of movement, flowing and evolving into a visual feast of light, colour and atmosphere. Quick expressive painting is necessary to capture the essence of such transformations. Wanderlust is my passion, skies my daily inspiration, my paintings expressions of eerily beautiful moments, often unnoticed.
