The flowers of fish ribs and jaw bones is a complicated delicate maceration process. Their simplistic beauty created into ocean flowers are placed to accentuate geometrically with the curves of the copper complimenting back to the curves of the bone. The vase, a recycled water strainer contributes its own contemporary beauty with its shape and soft curves.
I love the simplicity, the natural flow and gentle curves of bone. These curves inspire the journey of sourcing recycled items to accentuate the bone. I don't just want to create an art piece I want to create a story that leaves the viewers inquisitive mind engaged to find their own story.
