On a journey to Sofala some time ago I noticed and took photos of this fabulous old truck sitting under bushes in long grass. I knew I could use the image one day and the 2020 Stanthorpe art prize gave me the day.
I have been painting full time for more than 25 years and have exhibited with many Sydney and rural galleries over the years. I've been selected as a finalist in numerous art awards, covering a variety of genres and in 2008, won the EMSLA, a prestigious national still life award.
