Coiling weave with Barbara Walker

This program stems from the Wiradjuri people of central and southern New South Wales. Whilst participating the students are being taught traditional Wiradjuri waaya-ma-rra [coiling] weave. Artists in Conversation: A talk by Liz Powell and Raylee Delaney

An hour-long talk by two artists from Borderline Regional Arts Association, Liz Powell and Raylee Delaney. Liz and Raylee are contributing artists to Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery’s latest exhibition, ‘Open-Ended’. In their talk, Raylee and Liz will touch on the history of the Borderline Regional Arts Association and its membership. They will discuss some of the works in the current exhibition, as well as their own art making practices-targeting interaction of techniques, materials and subjects.
